We're back

กลับมาแล้วหลังจากห่างหายไปนาน เนื่องด้วยความป่วนในหน้าที่การงานของกระผมเอง , link ที่พี่ ๆ น้อง ๆ เพือ่น ๆ ส่งมาให้ เลยไม่ได้ถูก post ขึ้นไปเลย ก็ขอโทษทุกคนด้วย คราวนี้ผมกลับมาด้วยพลังที่มากกว่าเดิม (หรือเปล่า) และความเข้มข้นเหมือนในหนังเกาหลี (ซะงั้น) เอาหน่า ไง ๆ ใครมาอ่านก็ post comment กันมั่ง หรือ post link ทางขวาก็ได้น๊า มาแชร์งานดี ๆ กันดีกว่า ไงตอนนี้ flash ก็ครบ 10 ปีแล้วนี่เนอะ (แล้วเราทำเว็บ ทำเกม กันมากี่ปีแล้วนี่) (คิดแล้วรู้สึกแก่อ่ะ)

BKK2 In Territory

Bangkok2 รู้สึกดีใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่เราได้ลงใน Territory เล่มหน้า (เล่มที่ 5) ร่วมกับ designer อีกหลายคน เช่น Urban Collective ,Aya Kato, Visible Elephant47 ,Pico Pico, Touma,Ogi Graphics,Takorasu,Gilamon etc. หนังสือ Graphic Design ดี ๆ สัญชาติมาเลเซียเล่มนี้ มาคราวนี้กับ Theme ของเล่มที่ว่า Japan Fever รวมเรือ่งราวเกี่ยวกับ Graphic Design ของญี่ปุ่นไว้อย่างน่าสนใจทีเดียวครับ ใครมีโอกาส ห้ามพลาดนะครับเล่มนี้

a Little Big WorkShop

ผ่านไปแล้วนะครับ กับ workshop ของ Bangkok2 ในหัวข้อ การรวมศิลปะ, เทคโนโลยี และเชิงพาณิชย์เข้าด้วยกันอย่างน่าสนใจ , ทาง Bangkok2 ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านมากนะครับ ที่ให้ความสนใจใน workshop ของเรา ในความจริงแล้ว workshop ของเราจะมีเนื้อหามากกว่านั้นอีกเล็กน้อย แต่เนื่องด้วยเวลาที่จำกัด เลยทำให้เรานำเสนอไปไม่ครบทุกส่วน แต่ยังไงก็ตาม เราจะนำ slide กับ content ทั้งหมดมาให้ download ไปดูเพิ่มเติมกันครับ

อีกเรื่องหนึ่งก็คือ มีใครไปฟังตอนบ่ายสอง หรือบ่ายสามมั้ยครับ workshop ของ bangkok2 เริ่มตอนบ่ายโมงตรง แต่ในเว็บและ press release เค้าคงเวลาผิดน่ะครับ (มีน้องเดย์คนนึงแล้ว ที่มาบ่ายสาม) ทางเราก็ยุ่งมาก เลยไม่ได้เช็คตรงนั้น ว่าเค้าลงให้ผิด ต้องขอโทษด้วยนะครับ ถ้ามีใครไปในเวลานี้ ช่วยส่งชื่อและ e-mail ติดต่อกลับเอาไว้หน่อยนะครับ ทางเราจะส่งของที่ระลึกเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ไปให้เป็นการขอโทษครับ :)

BKK2.ALIVE'S BACK

long time no see, กลับมาแล้วนะครับ หลังจากที่ host ของเราล่มไปชั่วคราว แต่คราวนี้เรากลับมาพร้อมกับ project ใหม่ ๆ และ content ดี ๆ เช่นเคยครับ

แต่พูดไป คนหายไปเยอะเลยนะนี่ มีใครยังอยู่บ้าง ช่วยมาโพสต์ comment ให้กำลังใจหน่อยนะครับ , please.....

The Beginning

Bangkok2 was founded in 2000 by a group of passionate design
talents living in Bangkok. Fueled with believe that Thai graphic design
society still haven't reach its full potential, Nattavut Luenthaisong
(Khun Nat or Ai Nat) as known by folks within Bangkok2 mentioned.
Khun Nat and his buddy Thanawat Chongmahakul brewed Bangkok2
from the basic "Thai motive" which later expanded into the core
essence of Bangkok2 itself -- Thai experimental design.
"Bangkok2 isn't an association, first of all I simply wish to provoke
younger generation with design that they could related to......Thai motives
and fable came to my mind…….it may seem a bit clich? but sky is the limit
and people often sway from such idea but few have actually toy with
our icons” Thanawat mentioned. Bangkok2 stands for “the alternate
philosophy” – number “2” can actually branch out into all sort of things
like “toward” , “second location” or even “second generation”.

Later on, Bangkok2 grew into branding with few more friends who
nurture the same passion. We gather more friends with varied talents:
illustration, motion graphic, digital montage and interactive arts.
Bangkok2, while stricted to the same philosophy, it grews from 2D
to interactive and beyond. For example, EkaLak who joined the band
later on who has great passion for motion arts expressed that,
“we just want to be experimental but at the same time we also want
our exposure to go beyond our border”, Ekalak really believe that
Thai talents are as good as any nations but our artists just need
to boast their skills toward the same direction. Like in every spoken
languages, its main purpose is simply to communicate but with care
and detail, a simple phrase can touch human soul deeply and emotionally.
